So, I haven't updated in a very long time. But I think it's worth noting that I did a stand-up comedy act for the first time ever this weekend. It was in front of an enormous crowd( like, a couple hundred) at a big comedy show hosted by Michael Showalter. It was really really awesome.

Movie meme

List one line from 20 of your favorite movies. Then have your friends guess which movies the lines are from. Underline the ones that people guess correctly.

1.Don't just stand there, acting like you've never seen the hand of God before!
2.Smile you son of a bitch!
3.The last time I was kissed in a garden it turned out rather awkward.
4.You know, I've had more rewarding friendships than this one. Although I do get
to keep telling the same jokes.
5.I wanted a mission, and for my sins, they gave me one.
6.I just don't think I can continue to live in a place that embraces and nurtures
apathy as if it was virtue.
7.Asa Nisi Masa.
8.That's what I said! Booty traps!
9.We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began
to take hold
10.It was behind you tyrone. when you go in reverse, things come from behind you.
11.Naw man. I'm pretty fuckin' far from okay.
12.There's a dent in that cab.
13.I would like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey.
14.What?! What will come out no more?!
15.Oh, George... not the livestock.
16.Where's the fetus going to gestate? You going to put it in a box?
17."I do believe in this." What does that mean?
18.I think I'm getting the black lung, pops.
19.It's like a battle between motors and horses, like technology vs. horse.
20.1970 Pontiac Firebird. The car I've always wanted and now I have it. I rule!

My speechcom teacher was telling us stories of the worst reactions she's seen people have to anxiety over giving a speech. Once in one of her classes, a guy got up to give his speech, got the first few words out, then panicked, jumped out the window(1st floor) and ran away. I find this to be hilarious.
